The Stephenville ISD Counseling Team is an integral part of the total educational program. It provides a systematic, planned approach for helping all students acquire and apply basic life skills and makes optimal use of the special knowledge and skills of school counselors. The foundation of the counseling program is to provide developmentally appropriate assistance for all students, and at the same time provide special assistance to those who need it.

 

The counseling team works with the school faculty and staff, students, parents, and the community to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program designed around the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.
